The man of the day, Kjell "Eubie" Waltman (his middle name is actually Hubert) concentrating on the play. He won the ragtime quiz arranged by Ragnar Hellspong, and gave some outstanding ragtime performances appreciated by all. He played his own version of "Maple Leaf Rag" (Scott Joplin), "Charleston Rag" (Eubie Blake), "Forth Worth Blues" (Euday Bowman), "Pastime Rag nr. 4" (Artie Matthews), "Pork and Beans" (imitating Luckeyth Robert's own version) and "The Junk Man Rag" (both by Charles L. Roberts), plus two Jimmy Yancey compositions, "How Long Blues" and "Yancey Stomp". He made two duets together with Peter Lundberg, "Swipesy Cake Walk" (Scott Joplin & Arthur Marshall) and "That Teasin' Rag" (Joe Jordan). Accompanied by Lundberg he also sang "Moving Day" (Andrew B. Sterling & Harry Von Tilzer) - a highly entertaining performance!
